Brighstone Forest
Brighstone Forest is the largest forest on the Isle of Wight, covering approximately 482 hectares in the southwest of the island. It spans several ridges including Chessell Down, Westover Down, Brighstone Down, Newbarn Down, Rowborough Down and Idlecombe Down, and forms part of the Isle of Wight Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The forest offers sweeping views across the island's countryside and coastline.

Lovely fresh morning walk, too cold for mud, hurrah, no dirty puppies!!! Views not too good though!
Came here on a foggy day and it felt magical. Such a beautiful walk
Brilliant walk with a free car park, only came across 2 othere people during our walk, surprisingly really as the car park was packed. Very peaceful and quiet, no litter around for the dog to sniff but definitely a wellys walk.
